It all started with an idea...

Before I created Citrine Designs I designed wedding flowers and loved it until one day when I became allergic to floral solutions.  I decided to dabble into wedding stationery.  I had already been asked to do a few designs for a friend, and I loved it!

I was concerned that with such a saturated industry that I wasn’t going to be able to pay the bills, but after I received words of gratitude from the brides I was helping I knew I would continue to learn.  I decided I could serve brides with a better product for a lower price by working out of my small home studio.

I was very determined... 

I decided I would set out to create the most beautiful wedding invitations for the most stylish budget savvy brides in the states.  It turns out, the road was more difficult than I imagined.  Many printers could not print to my expectations.  The time to design products took a long time and back then I didn’t know SEO very well.  Many suppliers would not allow small orders.  I was very determined to learn and find ways to get around things so I could help brides more.

The best part...

The hardest challenge was reaching brides, but in over ten years of determination I created a website of many great selling products. So many responses from brides have made me cry with happy tears.  It was totally worth it all and I look forward to designing new invitation collections in the future!
